For The First Time In Forever.....

Yes, that is a Frozen reference in the title!  I cant help it, I really love that soundtrack!  Haha.  It's who I am!   But its the perfect title for this post!

As of this weekend, I will officially have my own apartment!  For the first time in forever, I get to make a home purely the way I want to.   I am really excited about that!  I made me registry wish list on Walmart.com and Amazon and that was so much fun!   This weekend someone in my family took me furniture shopping and the kids and I all got to pick out new furniture for our bedrooms!   And we got our bedding too!   Even the kids are getting excited about this next phase of our lives!

MY BEDROOM:  I get to be as girly and feminine as I want this time!   That means pink and flowers and crystals!   YES!   Hahaha.   I am gonna have a very pretty white bedroom set with crystal knobs and I picked out this gorgeous bedding that is EXACTLY what I pictured in my head. 

MY BATHROOM:  I get to have a super girly bathroom!   A polka dot shower curtain with a fuzzy pink bathroom rug!  I am super excited about a pink bathroom rug!   Cupcakes everywhere in there!  Haha.  Not even kidding.

LILLIE'S BEDROOM:   Lillie picked out a white bed too and Rainbow Zebra bedding.   She cant wait to be all Zebra everything in there.   She has truly left the little princess stage and into the pre-teen.  But it will be very cool.  

 

SETH'S BEDROOM:  Seth originally wanted a space themed room.  But then he found a bedding set with Super Mario Bros. and fell in love.   They both have bunk beds so one of his beds will be plain blues.  He can not wait to be in that room.

KID'S/GUEST BATHROOM:  This will be done in primary colors and comic book super heroes!  Its gonna be super cool!  Can't wait to see it all come together!

KITCHEN/DINING/LIVING ROOM:   These rooms will all be nautical and sea escape themed.   Seashells and sunshine and anchors!   Its gonna be relaxing and fun!

We will even have a tiny little balcony.   I cant wait to get some planter boxes and at least grow some mint again and maybe some other herbs!

I love seeing all of it come together and fall into place.  I cant wait to lay out a welcome mat and just be our new family unit in our new little haven!   Its gonna still be a tough journey ahead, but for the first time in forever, I am excited about where life is going!




PS----I need some strong guys to help move this weekend!  It's a third story apartment and we need some muscle!
