I am excited to say I will have my own apartment soon, its in the works! Will officially announce it when I have the lease signed. It is such an overwhelming, exciting, terrifying, and empowering thing.
I was overwhelmed at all I truly needed by way of material things when I first started looking. But in all the mess, I cant tell you how many ways I have been blessed! So many friends and family have stepped up and started giving me (or promising to give) furniture! It blows my mind! I went thrift shopping with my sweet friend Carrie this past weekend and we found some amazing deals! At a time when I feel lonely sometimes, you guys have stepped up and blown my socks off! THANK YOU!!!! I truly feel blessed to know some amazing giving people!
I made up a wish list on Amazon (there should be a link to the right, if not just look up my name) and on Walmart.com too of all the millions of small things I still need for those who have asked how you can help (so many of you from out of state have even asked!).
Can I just say how fun it was to make that wish list?!? Even though the list overwhelms me and I am completely terrified of this next chapter of my life, I am excited too! I am becoming independent. If I want to make my bathroom all girlie and have a pink fuzzy rug, I CAN! If I want girly princess bedroom, I CAN! Through this stormy faze of life, I see excitement too! I love seeing who I am come back out like a new person! It feels good!
